Best for speakers who are Getting Started or Growing
Why This Exists
Most speakers are stuck — not for lack of effort, but for lack of the right intelligence.
You're putting in the work. But the questions that matter most keep going unanswered. You don't know what you don't know — and that's exactly what I'm here for.
The questions that don't have obvious answers
Should I pursue a bureau? Which niches actually have budget? Who are the real decision-makers for the events I want? How do I stand out in a crowded market? These aren't Google-able. They require context, research, and judgment.
The cost of acting on the wrong assumption
Speakers build niches with no real buyer. Pitch bureaus before they're ready. Chase conferences in markets where budgets dried up years ago. Position themselves in ways that attract the wrong rooms at the wrong fees. The time cost is real. The missed revenue is real. One well-researched session changes the math.
How It Works
Before we meet, I research. During the session, we work.
This isn't a discovery call. I come prepared. You come with your most important question — and we spend 45 minutes answering it properly.
You name your questions
When you book, you tell me what's blocking you. Up to three questions — enough to shape a focused session. Market positioning, buyer landscape, competitive standing, pipeline, niche viability: you set the agenda.
I research before we talk
Most coaching sessions start cold. This one doesn't. Before we meet, I apply my competitive intelligence methodology to your specific situation — the same approach I've used with organizations from startups to Fortune 500s for 18+ years. By the time we sit down, I already have a picture of the landscape and informed perspectives ready.
We work through it together
45 minutes of direct, substantive work. No warm-up. No pitch. I share what I found, you add context, and we work through each question clearly — so you leave knowing exactly where things stand and what to do next.
The Framework
Every question maps to one of three pillars.
Visible. Connected. Trusted. Your question lives somewhere on this map — and once we know where, the answer gets a lot clearer.
Visible
Can the right buyers find you? If your question is about positioning, niche clarity, SEO, AI search presence, events, or bureau fit — it's a Visibility question. We figure out where you show up and where you don't.
Connected
Do you know who actually makes the booking decisions — and do they know you exist? If your question is about identifying the right buyers, understanding how decisions get made, mapping the stakeholder landscape, or navigating to the people who matter — it's a Connection question.
Trusted
When someone finds you, do they believe you can deliver? If your question is about pricing confidence, social proof, credibility signals, or whether your positioning matches the fees you want to command — it's a Trust question.
Who This Is For
This session works best at two points in the journey.
Not for speakers who need accountability or ongoing support — that's what the Speaker Growth Roadmap and Fractional engagement are for. This is for a specific, answerable question right now.
You're building the foundation
You've got real expertise and you're starting to formalize your speaker business. Before you build anything — a website, a niche, a pitch — you want to know if you're pointed in the right direction.
- Is my niche viable and specific enough?
- What do buyers in this market actually want?
- Who are the real gatekeepers for the events I want?
- How do I price myself against comparable speakers?
You're pushing through a plateau
You're getting some bookings but not the right ones, or not enough. You've hit a ceiling and you're not sure what's actually holding you back — or which lever to pull first.
- Why am I not getting bureau traction?
- Which market segments have real budget right now?
- What does my competitive landscape actually look like?
- How do I differentiate from other speakers in my space?
What You Walk Away With
A session with a specific output.
Not a "great conversation." A clear answer, a framework to apply it, and a next step that makes sense for your situation.
Clarity on your specific questions
A well-reasoned perspective grounded in actual research and 18+ years of applied competitive intelligence methodology. My job isn't to decide for you — it's to make sure you're working from the right information when you do.
An approach you can reuse
I walk you through how I got to the answer — the sources, the logic, the structure. That's transferable. The next time you're facing a strategic decision in your speaker business, you'll have a process for thinking it through.
A clear next step
Every session ends with a specific, prioritized action or set of actions. You'll know what to do next to move forward with confidence.
Session notes
A brief written summary of the key findings and the agreed-upon direction, sent after the session. Something you can reference as you execute.
